18th May 2011 - Thistle's garments make it to the top of the the highest mountain in Africa!

At 5,895 metres or 19,341 feet above sea level, Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the African continent. When we heard about Andrew Geelan's climb to the top to raise funds for the The Royal Regiment of Scotland Association we were delighted to offer help supplying some technical garments and embroidering their polo shirts.

Thistle are delighted to have supplied the crew of the P.S. Waverly with their Royal Navy style GORE-TEX(R)

Foul Weather jackets. The P.S. Waverly is nothing short of a Scottish Institution carrying passengers ‘doon the watter’ since 1947 and is now the last operating seagoing paddle steamer in the world.
